About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Design & Engineering
- Lead the design and optimisation of critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems.
- Develop scalable, standardised engineering solutions that support future growth and operational continuity.
- Review and select equipment and technologies based on performance, reliability, efficiency, and lifecycle value.
- Provide technical guidance during planning, construction, commissioning, and operational phases.
Reliability & Asset Performance
- Drive reliability-focused engineering practices, including risk assessment, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish maintenance and monitoring strategies using operational data and performance analytics.
- Identify opportunities to improve system resilience, energy efficiency, and overall operational performance.
- Support lifecycle planning, asset renewal strategies, and infrastructure upgrades.
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure engineering solutions meet operational and business requirements.
- Support project execution by reviewing designs, managing technical risks, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Provide technical leadership for infrastructure expansion, upgrades, and site evaluations.
- Translate complex engineering concepts into practical recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in critical infrastructure, data centres, industrial facilities, utilities, energy, or large-scale engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of either mechanical systems (cooling, HVAC, thermal management) or electrical systems (power distribution, UPS, generation, protection systems), with exposure to multidisciplinary environments.
- Experience in infrastructure reliability, maintenance strategies, asset lifecycle management, or engineering project delivery.
- Ability to analyse technical challenges, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
