A well-established engineering and surveying firm in Connecticut is seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor (LS) to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a survey professional looking to work on a diverse portfolio of municipal engineering and infrastructure improvement projects while having a clear path toward leadership and potential ownership.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting boundary, topographic, and municipal survey projects for local municipalities, state agencies, federal agencies, and private clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct land records research and title analysis
  • Perform boundary analysis and resolve property line issues
  • Support field surveying operations and oversee data collection
  • Prepare cost estimates and survey proposals
  • Interpret plans, deeds, easements, and other legal documents
  • Coordinate with engineers, municipalities, and project stakeholders
  • Assist with project management and client communication

Qualifications

  • Connecticut Professional Land Surveyor (LS) license required
  • 4+ years of professional land surveying experience
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience with boundary surveys, land records research, and survey computations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Valid driver's license
