A well-established engineering and surveying firm in Connecticut is seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor (LS) to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a survey professional looking to work on a diverse portfolio of municipal engineering and infrastructure improvement projects while having a clear path toward leadership and potential ownership.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting boundary, topographic, and municipal survey projects for local municipalities, state agencies, federal agencies, and private clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct land records research and title analysis
- Perform boundary analysis and resolve property line issues
- Support field surveying operations and oversee data collection
- Prepare cost estimates and survey proposals
- Interpret plans, deeds, easements, and other legal documents
- Coordinate with engineers, municipalities, and project stakeholders
- Assist with project management and client communication
Qualifications
- Connecticut Professional Land Surveyor (LS) license required
- 4+ years of professional land surveying experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with boundary surveys, land records research, and survey computations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Valid driver's license
