A well-established multidisciplinary engineering and architecture consulting firm is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership role, manage a variety of survey projects, and help shape the future of an established surveying practice within a firm that has been serving clients for almost 100 years.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys.
- Coordinate field crews, office staff, and project schedules.
- Prepare survey deliverables, legal descriptions, and plats.
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, and construction teams on multidisciplinary projects.
- Serve as a client-facing representative and help develop new business opportunities.
- Mentor junior survey staff and contribute to the continued growth of the survey department.
What We're Looking For
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred.
- Experience managing survey projects from proposal through completion.
- Strong knowledge of survey equipment, GPS, total station technology, and survey software.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
