This organization designs and manufactures highly customized low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment used across industrial, commercial, utility, and critical infrastructure markets throughout North America.

Position Overview
These roles support the design, development, and manufacture of engineered-to-order low- and medium-voltage power distribution equipment. Engineers will work closely with manufacturing, operations, quality, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions while supporting customer and production requirements.
Lead-level engineers will provide technical leadership, mentoring, design review support, and workload coordination, while Engineer I and II positions will focus on engineering execution, design development, technical documentation, and manufacturing support.
This is a highly visible opportunity within a growing organization where engineers have direct involvement in product design, problem solving, process improvement, and the successful delivery of custom power distribution projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical or mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Interpret customer and order requirements while identifying missing, conflicting, or non-standard inputs.
- Apply engineering standards, design review processes, configuration management, and change control procedures.
- Support manufacturing, quality, and operations teams with technical issue resolution and root-cause investigations.
- Coordinate with engineering, drafting, operations, and customer-facing teams throughout project execution.
- Maintain accurate engineering records and documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead-level engineers will provide technical direction, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate engineering workloads.
- Support the design and manufacture of low- and medium-voltage switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, control assemblies, and related power distribution equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience requirements vary based on level (Engineer I through Lead).
- Experience with engineered products, manufacturing environments, power distribution equipment, switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, or industrial equipment preferred.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, revision control, and structured problem-solving methods.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar engineering design tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience preferred for Lead-level positions.
