MEP Project Manager
Join a growing NYC-based MEP consulting engineering firm delivering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection projects across a variety of building types. This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with a mechanical, plumbing, and/or fire protection background who is ready to take on greater project management responsibility. The position offers significant remote flexibility, with travel into New York City approximately two days per week for site visits. You'll have the opportunity to manage multidisciplinary MEP projects, work directly with clients, and grow alongside a smaller, collaborative team.
The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing multidisciplinary MEP projects from design through construction and completion
- Coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines
- Serving as a key point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams
- Conducting and coordinating NYC site visits approximately two days per week
- Reviewing designs, drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Managing project schedules, deliverables, and client expectations
The MEP Project Manager should have the following:
- Ideally 4 to 8 years of experience within MEP consulting engineering
- Strong mechanical, plumbing, and/or fire protection design experience
- Experience working on building projects within the New York City market
- Strong project coordination, communication, and client-facing skills
- Ability to travel to NYC project sites approximately two days per week
