An established and growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction of complex water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and related municipal infrastructure projects throughout the Tampa Bay area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys technically challenging work, long-term project stability, and the opportunity to help deliver critical infrastructure projects that serve local communities. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of water and wastewater construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and contract administration.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field operations teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project performance to ensure safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved.
- Provide leadership and support to Superintendents, Project Engineers, and project staff.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for future work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction.
- Experience managing water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, or other heavy civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost controls.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with industry-standard construction management software.
