Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of project-specific Quality Control plans.
- Conduct and document quality inspections and audits throughout all phases of construction.
- Coordinate testing and inspection activities with project teams, subcontractors, and third-party agencies.
- Track deficiencies, corrective actions, and quality-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with owner specifications, contract requirements, and industry standards.
- Review project drawings, specifications, submittals, and material certifications.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate project records and quality reports.
Experience Needed
- Heavy civil construction experience preferred.
- Experience on infrastructure projects such as:
- Roads and highways
- Bridges
- Underground utilities
- Site development
- Water and wastewater projects
- Experience performing inspections, testing coordination, and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with material testing procedures and construction standards.
- Experience working with owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of construction or quality control experience.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
