SCADA Engineer Remote (Ignition)
Field SCADA Engineer (Ignition - Data Centers) Remote
Remote position with travel to client sites across the US, focused on deploying, commissioning, and validating Ignition SCADA systems within mission-critical data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission and deploy Ignition SCADA systems for BMS and EPMS applications
- Perform point-to-point verification of graphics, alarms, control sequences, and field devices
- Support system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and integration activities
- Conduct UAT and resolve issues in live operational environments
- Validate communications between SCADA platforms, PLCs, databases, and historians
- Provide client-facing support during system turnover, training, and go-live phases
- Document commissioning activities and track field issue resolution
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with Ignition SCADA, particularly Perspective
- Hands-on commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting experience
- Strong understanding of PLCs, controls systems, and data integration
- Comfortable working independently onsite and interacting directly with customers
- Ability to travel as required
Preferred
- Experience within data centers or other mission-critical facilities
- Knowledge of SQL, MQTT, and industrial historians
- Background in UAT, QA, and large-scale commissioning projects
Location Candidates can be based in: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kansas, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Iowa.
