We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power systems, renewable energy, and electrical design. The ideal candidate is technically driven, collaborative, and excited to contribute to innovative energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design and engineering efforts for utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Perform feasibility assessments, electrical studies, power system modeling, and engineering calculations
- Develop, review, and approve electrical drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and codes, including NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and NERC requirements
- Review, seal, and stamp engineering documents as required
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to engineering staff
- Support proposal development, client interaction, and other business development initiatives through technical expertise
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 8+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Demonstrated expereince in renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
- Flexibility to support project needs and occasional off-site work
Preferred
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Exposure to engineering consulting or electrical design environments
- Participation in professional engineering organizations or industry associations
