About the Company
An established engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Engineer - Secondary & Protection to join its growing Power & Electrification team. This is an opportunity to work on major transmission, distribution, renewable energy, and power infrastructure projects while taking ownership of design delivery and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver secondary and protection engineering designs for complex power infrastructure projects.
- Prepare, review, and check technical deliverables to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support project delivery across transmission, substations, and renewable energy developments.
- Work closely with clients, utilities, and project stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence within the team.
- Support proposal preparation and business development activities as required. ]
About You
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Secondary & Protection Engineering within power, utilities, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy projects.
- Strong understanding of protection systems, secondary design, and substation projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership is highly regarded.
