About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join their Phoenix team. This role is ideal for an experienced design professional who can lead workplace and commercial interiors projects from concept through completion while serving as a trusted advisor to clients and mentoring junior staff.
The successful candidate will bring strong design leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for creating innovative, functional, and engaging interior environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision, design direction, and execution of interior design projects.
- Manage all interior design aspects of project delivery from programming and space planning through construction administration.
- Serve as a primary client contact, building and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop innovative workplace strategies, design concepts, and solutions tailored to client needs.
- Lead presentations and communicate design intent to clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Oversee FF&E selection, specifications, and finish palettes.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Interior Designers and other team members.
- Ensure project deliverables meet schedule, budget, quality, and contract requirements.
- Participate in business development efforts and contribute to the growth of client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited program.
- Minimum 8-15 years of commercial interior design experience.
- NCIDQ certification required.
- Extensive experience in workplace, corporate, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use interiors.
- Strong understanding of commercial building codes and industry best practices.
- Advanced space planning, workplace strategy, and design development skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.

Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and credentials.
