Senior Project Manager
An established multidisciplinary engineering, architecture, and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Civil/Site to help lead and expand its growing public sector practice in Georgia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer who enjoys a combination of project leadership, client development, team management, and strategic growth. The successful candidate will oversee challenging public infrastructure and site development projects while playing a key role in business development and mentoring engineering staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead civil/site projects from proposal through construction completion.
- Manage the design and delivery of:
- Site grading and drainage
- Stormwater management systems
- Utility infrastructure
- Erosion and sediment control measures
- Permitting and regulatory coordination
- Oversee schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and project profitability.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams, subconsultants, and public agencies.
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to public-sector stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and pursuit strategies.
- Support and mentor project managers, engineers, and technical staff.
- Contribute to office growth initiatives and long-term strategic planning.
Ideal Background
- PE license required (Georgia preferred).
- 10+ years of civil/site engineering experience.
- Strong background delivering public-sector projects such as:
- Parks & Recreation
- Multi-use trails and greenways
- K-12 and Higher Education facilities
- Civic and municipal developments
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proven ability to win work, develop clients, and manage public procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
