Land Development Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Lead site civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Manage design efforts related to:
- Site layout
- Grading and drainage
- Stormwater management
- Utility infrastructure
- Erosion and sediment control
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, quality, and client relationships.
- Coordinate permitting activities with local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and review stormwater reports, hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, and SWPPPs.
- Perform QA/QC reviews on plans and technical documents.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, industry organizations, and community initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of site development / land development engineering experience.
- Strong technical background in:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Stormwater design
- Hydrology & hydraulics
- Grading and drainage design
- Utility coordination
- Permitting and entitlement processes
- Proven project management and client-facing experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
