A growing multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale building design projects across commercial, multifamily, higher education, K-12, municipal, healthcare, life sciences, and building performance sectors. - Managing multiple large-scale new construction and retrofit projects from inception through completion
- Leading multidisciplinary MEPFPIT engineering teams while maintaining project budgets and schedules
- Coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
- Providing technical oversight and guidance across all building systems disciplines
- Facilitating design coordination and driving successful project delivery
- Mentoring engineers and supporting the technical development of project teams
- Ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, energy standards, and industry regulations
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development, sales, and marketing efforts
- Identifying new project opportunities and helping expand the firm's client base
The Senior Project Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Extensive experience managing large-scale building design and construction projects
- Strong knowledge of MEPFPIT building systems and multidisciplinary coordination
- Experience working directly with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants
- Ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and engineering teams
- Knowledge of applicable building and energy codes and standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for mentorship, collaboration, and project excellence
- Interest in sustainable and energy-efficient building design
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- LEED Accredited Professional, WELL, Passive House, or other sustainability certifications
- Experience across commercial, healthcare, higher education, municipal, life sciences, or multifamily projects
- Business development and client relationship management experience
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
