This is an opportunity to join a growing forensic and diagnostics team where you'll lead challenging investigations, manage key client relationships, and play a visible role in the continued growth of an established and highly respected practice. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage forensic engineering, restoration, rehabilitation, and renovation projects from investigation through completion.
- Perform structural assessments, condition surveys, and failure investigations on existing buildings and structures.
- Investigate water intrusion, building envelope deficiencies, construction defects, and structural performance issues.
- Develop technical reports, repair recommendations, and engineering solutions for clients.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with owners, contractors, architects, legal teams, and insurance representatives.
- Support client development efforts and help expand the forensic and diagnostics practice.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure exceptional client service and technical quality across all projects.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence required.
- 7+ years of experience in forensic engineering, structural diagnostics, restoration, rehabilitation, or related consulting services.
- Proven experience managing projects and client relationships.
- Experience supporting litigation matters, insurance claims, or legal investigations is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, building envelope performance, and existing building assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
