Our client is looking for a Senior Structural Project Manager - who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering engineering excellence. You will lead structural engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance, quality, and timely delivery within budget. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients, driving excellence at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines aligned with client objectives.
- Structural Engineering Oversight: Review and approve designs, calculations, and specifications to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage engineers and project staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures and conduct site inspections.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong client communication, address concerns proactively, and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
- Risk & Financial Management: Monitor budgets, mitigate risks, and ensure projects meet financial targets.
- Business Development: Support proposal preparation and participate in industry events to expand client relationships.
What We're Looking For
- BS in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)
- PE License (essential)
- 7-10+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
