  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems is a plus.
  • Advanced working knowledge of PSS®E and/or PSLF, including associated models, automation, and analysis tools.
  • Experience conducting transmission planning and power system studies, including power flow, contingency, stability, and related analyses.
  • Familiarity with one or more major North American power markets or interconnections, including the Eastern Interconnection, ERCOT, and WECC.
  • Direct experience supporting generation, storage, or large-load interconnection studies.
  • Experience performing generation deliverability or transmission assessment work within ISO/RTO markets is highly valued.
  • Experience with TARA for transmission reliability or contingency analysis is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with PSCAD and EMT modeling, particularly for inverter-based resources, protection/control interactions, or related grid integration studies, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, and client communication skills.

Opportunity

This position offers the opportunity to work on technically complex grid integration and interconnection projects involving renewable generation, energy storage, large loads, and transmission infrastructure. The role provides exposure to multiple North American markets and the opportunity to work directly with developers, utilities, and other power industry stakeholders.

Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered, including health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and other employee benefits based on location and eligibility.
