Role Overview
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, review and implementation of protection and control systems.
- Conduct power system studies, modelling and technical analysis.
- Configure, test and commission protection relays and automation systems.
- Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Support the development of innovative electrical solutions for critical infrastructure.
- Drive system improvements focused on reliability, efficiency and performance.
- Manage technical issues, defect resolution and project close-out activities.
- Act as the key technical interface between project teams, vendors and stakeholders.
- Maintain engineering documentation, reporting and design standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in protection and control engineering.
- Knowledge of electrical power systems, relays and automation technologies.
- Experience with power system modelling and analysis software.
- Familiarity with IEC, ANSI and relevant industry standards.
- Proven capability in design review and technical assurance activities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience delivering projects within critical infrastructure, utilities or industrial environments.
