Sprinkler Fitter
An established mechanical contractor in the Minneapolis area is looking to add an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to its growing field team.
This is a hands-on position working across commercial and industrial projects, with responsibility for installing, maintaining, modifying, and repairing fire sprinkler systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and modify fire sprinkler systems
- Fit and assemble sprinkler piping, valves, fittings, and related equipment
- Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Perform system testing, maintenance, and repairs
- Troubleshoot existing sprinkler systems
- Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other mechanical trades
- Ensure work meets project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable codes
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship on site
What We're Looking For
- Previous Sprinkler Fitter experience
- Experience working for a mechanical or fire protection contractor
- Strong understanding of sprinkler piping and fire protection systems
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Commercial and/or industrial project experience
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Relevant licenses or certifications are a plus
