The company is hiring a proven Senior Estimator to manage the construction of multimillion dollar high-rise and large-scale commercial projects in Tampa. This is working for a leading national general contractor and will support their team effectively execute on landmark multimillion dollar builds.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience estimating complex commercial projects and a proven ability to manage multiple pursuits in fast-paced environments.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Estimator include:
- Lead the development of conceptual, schematic, design development, and GMP estimates.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing analyses.
- Collaborate with Project Executives, Project Managers, and Operations leadership during project pursuits.
- Support business development efforts by providing market intelligence and conceptual pricing.
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers throughout Florida and the Southeast.
Key requirements of the Senior Estimator include:
- Proven experience in estimating, leading multimillion dollar bids ranging from $50-100m+ for a general contractor.
- Experience working with subcontractor networks across Florida; strong understanding of regional cost trends.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proficiency with estimating software such as OST, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating, HCSS, BuildingConnected, or similar platforms.
