The company is hiring a proven Senior Superintendent to manage the construction of multi-million dollar high-rise or airport projects in Tampa. This is working for a leading national general contractor, as the primary field leader, and will support them effectively execute large-scale commercial projects, valued between $100M and $400M.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Superintendent include:
- Lead all on-site construction operations from project startup through turnover.
- Manage schedules, sequencing, logistics, manpower planning, and subcontractor coordination.
- Work directly alongside the Project Manager, while maintaining ownership of all field activities.
- Oversee subcontractor performance and hold trade partners accountable to project commitments.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, engineers, and project teams.
Key requirements of the Senior Superintendent include:
- Proven experience as a primary field leader on ground-up high-rise projects.
- At least two completed project, from foundations to hand-over, as the lead superintendent onsite.
- Proven ability to make independent project decisions and lead field operations.
- Ability to lead large teams.
