Structural EIT
A growing employee-owned engineering consulting firm is launching its Kansas City office and looking to add a Structural Engineer with 1-2 years of experience to its expanding structural team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the office's growth strategy while gaining exposure to a variety of structural design projects across industrial, municipal, commercial, water/wastewater, data center, and mission-critical markets.
This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to be part of a high-growth office from day one.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design under senior engineer supervision
- Assist in developing plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Support field investigations and construction observations
- Participate in client meetings and project discussions
- Develop proficiency in structural design software and applicable codes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred)
- 1-2 years of structural engineering experience
- EIT certification required
- Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, or foundation design preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Desire to work in a fast-growing environment
