A growing site development contractor is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support safety initiatives across active construction projects. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys working closely with field teams and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct jobsite safety inspections and audits
- Assist with safety training, meetings, and new hire orientations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Work closely with Superintendents and field crews to promote safe work practices
- Investigate incidents and help implement corrective actions
- Maintain safety documentation and reporting
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in construction safety or a related field
- Experience with site development, utilities, earthwork, or heavy civil construction preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
- OSHA 30 preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
