Structural Engineer - Industrial & Commercial Projects
A growing multidisciplinary engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to support a diverse portfolio of industrial, commercial, and high-end residential projects. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on projects ranging from new commercial developments to facility expansions and specialty structural design work.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Prepare calculations, specifications, and construction documents
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
- Support projects from concept through construction
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction-phase services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical design solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- EIT preferred
- 4-8 years of structural engineering experience
- Experience with commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or residential projects
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes and design standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PE license (not required)
- Experience with industrial facilities, manufacturing, or advanced technology projects
- Experience coordinating directly with clients and design teams
