Job Description:
This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced Professional Land Surveyor who is passionate about growing a business, developing teams, and expanding client relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of the survey practice while leading project delivery and business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth and expansion of the survey practice within existing and emerging markets
- Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients
- Identify new business opportunities and help drive revenue growth
- Recruit, mentor, and develop survey staff as the team expands
- Oversee survey operations, project execution, and quality control
- Manage budgets, project schedules, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and market development
- Serve as a technical resource and industry representative within the surveying community
Qualifications:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- 10+ years of progressive surveying experience
- Proven success in business development, client management, or practice growth
- Experience leading and mentoring survey teams
- Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and land development surveys
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and expand a business unit
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities
Compensation:
- Base salary ranging from $150,000 - $225,000+
