What You'll Do
- Perform transmission planning studies, including:
- Power flow analysis
- Voltage stability assessments
- Short-circuit and transient stability studies
- Analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop solutions for transmission challenges.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects that support grid reliability and future energy needs.
What We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of power system fundamentals and electrical engineering principles.
- Ability to interpret data and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software tools such as:
- PSS/E, TARA, ETAP
- Bonus points for experience with PSCAD or Aspen.
- Exposure to transmission studies through academic projects or professional experience.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn from experienced mentors.
