A growing engineering consulting firm is looking to add a Transportation / Bridge Business Development Manager to help expand its presence across Missouri and Kansas. This is a strategic, client-facing leadership opportunity focused on winning work, developing relationships, and helping position the firm for continued growth as a prime consultant.
What You'll Do
- Lead business development efforts throughout Missouri and Kansas.
- Develop and maintain relationships with DOTs, municipalities, local agencies, and key industry partners.
- Identify, pursue, and help secure transportation and bridge infrastructure projects.
- Support proposal strategy, capture planning, and pursuit efforts.
- Expand the firm's visibility and market presence within the transportation industry.
- Work closely with market leaders and technical teams to convert opportunities into backlog.
- Help strengthen the firm's ability to pursue and win work as a prime consultant.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
What We're Looking For
- Proven success winning work within the engineering consulting industry.
- Strong network of relationships within transportation, bridge, municipal, or infrastructure markets.
- Experience with client development, capture management, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Background in transportation, bridge, civil engineering, municipal infrastructure or related engineering disciplines.
- Ability to identify opportunities and guide pursuits from initial relationship-building through contract award.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing business and building long-term partnerships.
