Travelling MEP Project Manager
As an MEP Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex, mission-critical data center projects, ensuring delivery from early planning through commissioning.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in highly technical, fast-moving environments and can confidently bring complex MEP scopes to life.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through closeout and commissioning
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, design teams, and internal stakeholders
- Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, billing, and change management
- Build and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, with strong focus on critical path
- Coordinate across all MEP scopes including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low voltage, and controls
- Lead OAC meetings and provide clear progress updates to senior stakeholders
- Drive commissioning efforts and Integrated Systems Testing to ensure full system performance and reliability
- Support and mentor junior team members including Project Engineers and Assistant PMs
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and site requirements
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a Project Management role
- Proven experience delivering data center or mission-critical projects (3 to 5 years preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and critical power infrastructure
- Solid financial management skills across large, complex budgets
- Confident communicator with strong client-facing experience
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred:
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, BIM tools, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
