They're in search for a Traffic Design Project Engineer to come in and assist with their current backlog. The ideal candidate will be able to come in running from the ground up, assist with leading some design work, and provide mentorship to less experienced engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate phases of the engineering work for projects
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, etc. to plan projects
- Design projects using design software and tools according to guidelines and specifications of client
- Manage sub consultants and in house support disciplines
- Prepare proposals as needed
- Attend client meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- 5-10 years experience in Traffic Engineering
Preferences:
- PE License in NC
- Experience with local clients for county and state
