A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Bridge Superintendent to oversee field operations on bridge and transportation infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a strong field leader with experience managing bridge construction, structural concrete, and roadway work.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily field operations on bridge and transportation projects
- Manage crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Coordinate structural concrete, bridge rehabilitation, and new bridge construction activities
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications
- Work closely with Project Managers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Maintain quality control and enforce all safety standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in bridge or heavy civil construction
- Strong background in bridge construction, structural concrete, roadway, or transportation infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- OSHA certification preferred
