An industry-leading project delivery and consulting company is seeking a Design Construction Manager to oversee the design, construction administration, and execution of large-scale mission critical facilities across the United States.
This is a highly visible role working directly with owners, design partners, contractors, and operations teams to ensure world-class projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

The Opportunity
As a Design Construction Manager, you will serve as the owner's representative and project leader throughout the design and construction process.
You will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and operations stakeholders while driving project execution, risk management, budget oversight, schedule compliance, and technical quality.
This role requires a strong understanding of mission critical infrastructure and the ability to lead complex projects with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Lead design coordination from schematic design through as-built documentation
- Manage design partners and consultant relationships
- Facilitate review meetings, workshops, and issue resolution sessions
- Coordinate design deliverables and project milestones
- Support procurement and equipment integration activities
Project & Owner Representation
- Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders
- Monitor scope, schedule, budget, and risk exposure
- Support preconstruction planning and change management efforts
- Drive decision-making through effective reporting and communication
Construction Administration
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, and technical coordination activities
- Maintain project issue and risk registers
- Ensure alignment between design intent and field execution
- Support commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities
Client Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with project teams and executive stakeholders
- Deliver concise project updates and leadership reporting
- Maintain a high standard of client service throughout project delivery
Business Development Support
- Participate in proposals, presentations, and strategic pursuits
- Identify opportunities for expanded project involvement
- Support long-term client growth initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Experience managing large commercial, mission critical, industrial, or data center projects
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure
- Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary design and construction teams
- Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments
Travel Requirements
- 75% to 100% travel across the United States
- Typically assigned to long-term projects ranging from several months to multiple years
- Must be located near a major airport
- Valid driver's licence required
- Relocation assistance available when necessary
