Key responsibilities include:
* Reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents
* Performing detailed electrical takeoffs and developing competitive estimates
* Preparing complete bid proposals for commercial, industrial, and service projects
* Conducting site visits and pre-bid walkthroughs
* Collaborating with project teams, vendors, suppliers, and clients throughout the preconstruction process
* Evaluating project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
* Supporting successful bid strategies and project pursuits
We're looking for professionals with:
* 4+ years of electrical estimating experience
* Experience estimating commercial, industrial, or service projects
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC code requirements, materials, and construction methods
* Proficiency with Accubid, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* Electrical field experience or construction related education is a plus
