Electrical Engineer - Power Generation
Location: Remote (Midwest Preferred)
Compensation: $120,000-$200,000 Base Salary + Annual Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits

A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support power generation and energy infrastructure projects across North America. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects supporting utility, industrial, conventional generation, renewable energy, and nuclear clients.

Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of electrical engineering projects
- Develop electrical calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
- Prepare and review single-line diagrams, schematics, and engineering design packages
- Support equipment evaluations and power system studies
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Participate in project meetings and client interactions
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry codes and standards
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of engineering experience
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Power Generation
- Utilities
- EPC / Engineering Consulting
- Industrial Facilities
- Energy Infrastructure
- Renewable Energy
- Knowledge of electrical power systems and design principles
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
Preferred
- PE License or ability to obtain
- Experience supporting utility, power generation, or industrial projects
- Familiarity with power system analysis, relay protection, switchgear, substations, or plant electrical systems
- Experience working in a consulting or project-based environment
