A growing environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead asbestos, lead, and indoor environmental quality projects for a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients.
This role is ideal for an experienced environmental professional who enjoys balancing project management, client interaction, field oversight, technical report preparation, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage asbestos, lead, and indoor environmental projects from initiation through completion
- Oversee project schedules, staffing, budgets, quality control, and client satisfaction
- Perform and supervise asbestos inspections and building surveys
- Manage asbestos abatement projects and field activities
- Conduct and review air monitoring and clearance sampling
- Perform lead inspections, risk assessments, and clearance activities
- Conduct mold and indoor environmental evaluations
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and abatement design documents
- Coordinate field staff, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects comply with applicable regulatory and safety requirements
Qualifications
- 8+ years of environmental consulting or industrial hygiene experience
- Strong background in asbestos and lead consulting projects
- Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables
- Knowledge of asbestos abatement oversight, air monitoring, and clearance procedures
- Experience with technical report writing and project design development
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- IDPH Asbestos and Lead licenses preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
