Are you a licensed Professional Land Surveyor ready to take the lead on impactful projects across the Western U.S.? Join one of Southern California's premier Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firms as our Land Surveyor Lead and play a key role in shaping the future of our land survey department.
This is a high-visibility leadership position where you'll manage complex projects from start to finish, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with a team that values precision, innovation, and client satisfaction. You'll work in a bright, modern office located in the heart of Orange, CA, surrounded by a supportive, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture.
What You'll Do:
- Lead boundary analysis, mapping, and survey research
- Oversee project execution-budgets, timelines, and quality control
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Supervise field crews and provide mentorship to junior team members
- Prepare ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivision maps, legal descriptions, and more
- Direct construction staking and calculations
What You Bring:
- Active California PLS license
- 5+ years of experience solving complex boundary and mapping challenges
- Strong technical and leadership skills
- Proficiency in ALTA/ACSM surveys, construction staking, and as-builts
- Valid Driver's License
