Position Overview

Our client is seeking a Project Land Surveyor/Project Manager to support their growing Los Angeles office. In this role, you'll manage and contribute to a wide range of surveying projects, including:

  • Boundary, topographic, ALTA, utility, and control surveys
  • Coordination with field crews and office staff
  • Collaboration with engineers, architects, developers, and public agencies
  • Opportunities to manage clients and lead project delivery

This position is ideal for a licensed surveyor or experienced technician ready to take on more responsibility in an office environment.


What You'll Do

  • Manage and support survey projects from planning through final deliverables
  • Analyze and process field data using modern survey technologies
  • Prepare maps, legal descriptions, and survey reports
  • Ensure accuracy, safety, and quality across all project phases
  • Mentor junior staff and coordinate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in land surveying (field and office)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • California LSIT license preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening (as required by project)

Compensation

💵 $45.00 - $56.00/hour (based on experience, location, and licensing)
⏱️ Overtime eligible
🎯 Performance-based bonuses
