Manager of Engineering
Provide day-to-day electrical technical leadership, review, work coordination, and mentoring while maintaining responsibility for complex engineering assignments.
* Guide Engineer I/II personnel on standards, methods, and difficult assignments.
* Perform complex designs, calculations, and technical evaluations.
* Support workload prioritization with the Engineering Manager.
* Lead design reviews and ensure technical comments are resolved.
* Support manufacturing/customer/order issue resolution and root-cause activities.
* Identify opportunities for standardization and technical training.
* Accept/return work based on technical completeness and standards compliance.
* Escalate novel, high-risk, or standards-conflict issues to the Manager/SME.
* Progressive engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
* Strong knowledge of applicable product design practices and engineering controls. Specifically AutoCAD and 3D design experience working on switchgears, control systems, and LV/MV power systems.
* On-time technical reviews/releases.
* Issue-resolution effectiveness.
* Development of Engineer I/II capability.
