The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for...
- Leading mechanical design efforts on commercial interiors, retail, hospitality, and restaurant projects
- Producing engineering drawings and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
- Performing HVAC load calculations, ventilation calculations, and equipment sizing
- Completing energy compliance analyses
- Conducting MEPF site surveys and preparing reports
- Reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs while coordinating with architects, owners, and project teams
The Mechanical Design Engineer should have the following...
- 3-10 years of mechanical engineering experience within an MEP consulting environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP design, IMC, IECC, and ASHRAE standards
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Experience with commercial interiors, workplace, retail, hospitality, or restaurant projects
- NYC area residency with the ability to work on a hybrid schedule
