Project Manager - Civil Water/Wastewater

A growing, multidisciplinary engineering and infrastructure consulting firm is seeking a Project Manager - Water/Wastewater to join its Baton Rouge team. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct engineering analyses and evaluations to support municipal infrastructure improvements.
  • Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis of:
    • Water distribution systems
    • Sanitary sewer collection systems
    • Lift stations and pumping stations
    • Water transmission infrastructure
  • Develop planning studies, technical reports, and infrastructure assessments.
  • Design water distribution, treatment, wastewater collection, and treatment systems.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and develop rehabilitation and improvement recommendations.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client communications.
  • Attend client meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project delivery.
  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable engineering standards, regulations, and quality-control procedures.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience

  • 5+ years of water/wastewater engineering and design experience.
  • Experience delivering municipal infrastructure projects from planning through design and construction support.

Certifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Louisiana required.
  • Ability or willingness to obtain licensure in neighboring states is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ESRI/GIS products.
  • Strong understanding of water and wastewater system design principles.
  • Hydraulic modeling experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and client-facing skills.
