Sales Manager (APAC)
A leading player in the specialty chemicals distribution space is seeking a driven and strategic Sales Manager to lead its lubricants and metalworking fluids portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a technical sales environment and is passionate about delivering value-added solutions to industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional sales strategy for lubricants and metalworking fluids.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive growth across diverse APAC markets.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to deliver customized solutions.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform commercial decisions.
- Support and guide local sales teams to ensure alignment with regional objectives.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the lubricants, metalworking fluids, or specialty chemicals industry.
- Experience in adjacent sectors such as water treatment, industrial fluids, or process chemicals is highly preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial applications in sectors such as automotive, metal processing, or manufacturing.
- Proven track record of managing regional markets and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional, multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel across the APAC region as needed.
