The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple façade and glazing projects, serving as the primary liaison between clients, general contractors, design teams, suppliers, and internal operations teams. You will be responsible for maintaining project profitability, managing schedules, mitigating risk, and ensuring successful execution throughout the entire project lifecycle.
This is a leadership position offering the opportunity to mentor Project Managers and Coordinators while acting as a trusted resource for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership
- Manage multiple façade and glazing projects simultaneously from contract award through project completion.
- Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead coordination between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, field operations, and executive leadership.
- Conduct regular project reviews and site visits to ensure quality, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved.
- Identify project risks early and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Financial Management
- Maintain accountability for project budgets, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
- Prepare and review monthly cost projections and profitability reports.
- Manage change orders, claims, and contract modifications.
- Monitor invoicing, collections, and cash flow performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve project margins while maintaining quality standards.
Scheduling & Execution
- Develop and maintain project schedules that align with client expectations and internal production requirements.
- Coordinate material procurement and fabrication schedules.
- Ensure installation sequencing is properly planned and executed.
- Monitor project milestones and hold teams accountable to delivery commitments.
Team Development
- Provide mentorship and support to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
- Promote collaboration across departments and project teams.
- Champion best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of project management experience within the façade, glazing, curtain wall, cladding, architectural metals, or building envelope industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale commercial façade projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Strong understanding of unitised curtain wall systems, storefront, architectural metal panels, structural glass, and rainscreen assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets and forecasts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
