A well-established mechanical contracting and HVAC construction firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial and public-sector mechanical construction projects throughout Rhode Island. With decades of experience delivering complex HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems, this organisation has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Lead multiple mechanical construction projects simultaneously from award through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, manpower planning, and overall project performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and field teams
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor coordination, and project execution
- Monitor project financials, including forecasts, cost tracking, and profitability
- Support project teams in resolving technical and operational challenges
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Mentor and develop junior project management staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience within mechanical construction, HVAC, plumbing, or MEP contracting
- Proven track record managing commercial, institutional, municipal, or public-sector projects
- Strong understanding of construction financials, scheduling, and contract administration
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships
- Experience with project management and construction software platforms
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
