Senior Scheduler
Senior Manager, Project Controls (Scheduling)
Hyperscale Data Centers | North America
We're partnering with a large, multi-service owner's representative group to appoint a Senior Manager within its Project Controls team, supporting major hyperscale data center programs across North America.
The group provides project and development consultancy services, representing clients' interests across complex construction projects. Within that broader offering, this role focuses on scheduling, helping clients understand progress, anticipate risks, and make informed delivery decisions.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced scheduling professional who has managed a schedule on a data center project and wants to bring that experience into an owner's representative environment.
This is not a people-management or cost-management position. You'll take responsibility for schedules and work closely with clients and project teams, rather than manage a team of direct reports.
The Opportunity
You'll be involved in developing, maintaining, and reviewing schedules across complex data center developments, providing a clear picture of progress and highlighting issues that could affect delivery.
The role suits someone who enjoys the technical detail of scheduling but also wants direct involvement in project discussions. You'll help stakeholders understand what the schedule is showing, where the risks sit, and what needs attention.
You don't need to have led a department or managed a large team. What matters is practical scheduling experience, confidence working with project stakeholders, and previous responsibility for a data center project schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update schedules for large-scale data center projects
- Monitor progress against key milestones and identify potential delays
- Review schedule logic, sequencing, dependencies, and forecasts
- Work with clients and project teams to gather updates and assess their impact on delivery
- Produce clear schedule reports and communicate risks and priorities
- Support planning discussions and help teams understand the scheduling implications of project changes
- Contribute to consistent reporting standards and scheduling processes
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of planning, scheduling, or project controls experience on major construction projects
- Previous experience managing a schedule on a data center project
- Strong Primavera P6 skills
- A practical understanding of construction sequencing, schedule logic, and progress reporting
- Confidence working with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- The ability to explain schedule updates and risks clearly
Previous line-management experience is not required. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of a schedule, not someone who has necessarily managed other people.
Why This Role?
This is an opportunity to join a large, multi-service owner's representative group and contribute directly to major hyperscale data center projects.
You'll stay close to the scheduling work while gaining exposure to client-side delivery discussions and the wider project controls function. For someone looking for greater project responsibility without moving into people management, this offers that balance.
