Senior Stormwater Engineer

What You'll Be Working On
Projects may include:
- Stormwater management and drainage improvements
- Green infrastructure and low impact development (LID) solutions
- Watershed and water resource planning
- Stream and streambank restoration projects
- Wetland and buffer restoration
- Hydraulic and hydrologic modelling
- Flood mitigation and resiliency initiatives
- Municipal stormwater permitting and MS4 compliance programs
- Construction oversight and management of infrastructure projects
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of stormwater and water resources projects
- Serve as the technical lead across multiple concurrent assignments
- Develop innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client expectations
- Oversee projects through design, permitting, bidding, and construction phases
- Provide construction administration and field support as required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal and public-sector clients
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff
- Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and project pursuits
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines
- Lead client, stakeholder, and public meetings
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence
- 12+ years of experience in stormwater, water resources, or environmental engineering
- Strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modelling
- Proven project management experience delivering complex engineering projects
- Experience with MS4 programs, NPDES permitting, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent technical writing and report preparation skills
- Leadership experience managing project teams and mentoring staff
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS Pro
- Field experience conducting site investigations and infrastructure assessments
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites as required
