About the Opportunity
We're seeking a talented UI/UX Specialist to help shape the future of user experience within the Building Automation industry. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team focused on developing modern, intuitive interfaces and graphics that enhance how building operators interact with critical systems.
We're open to candidates from either a Building Automation/Controls background or a traditional UI/UX and Digital Design background. If you're passionate about creating engaging user experiences and visualizing complex data in a clear, intuitive way, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop user interfaces for building automation applications
- Create high-quality graphics and visualizations for end users
- Improve usability and overall user experience across software platforms
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to understand user needs
- Design intuitive operator experiences that simplify complex building systems
- Help drive innovation in graphics, visualization, and front-end design
We're Interested in Candidates From Two Backgrounds
Building Automation / Controls
- Experience within BAS, HVAC Controls, or Building Automation
- Experience creating graphics within DDC platforms
- Niagara and/or Siemens experience preferred
- Understanding of HVAC systems and building operations
- Ability to create user-friendly graphics for operators and facility teams
UI/UX & Digital Design
- Experience in UI/UX, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related disciplines
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
- Figma experience preferred
- Experience with Blender, Autodesk Maya, or similar design tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Excellent visual design and problem-solving skills
