Our client, a reputable civil engineering company based in Houston, is seeking to hire an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager for their land development projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting large-scale developments and help drive the company forwards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the residential land development projects from conception through completion
- Lead and manage a team
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
- Develop detailed work plans for each phase of the project
- Manage budgeting and scheduling activities
- Able to lead and train junior engineers.
- Build on client relationships - current and prospective clients.
- Prepare feasibility reports and cost estimates.
- Work alongside designers and drafters
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years' experience as an engineer working on land development projects.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Proven track record leading complex / large scale projects at various stages including design/build phases.

Project Management: Ability to plan effectively while managing time-sensitive details; capable communicator who can clearly convey information both verbally/written formats; adept problem solver able tackle challenging issues creatively/proactively whilst keeping budgets/schedules on-track;
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability lead cross-functional team members toward common goals/objectives delivering high-quality outcomes even under pressure/deadlines constraints;
Technical Knowledgeability: Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, grading, erosion control, site design, stormwater management, drainage design, roadway design, and sanity sewer design.
Salary offered for this position starts at $120000 per annum depending upon qualifications /experience along with additional benefits package..
