Title: Vice President of Origination
Summary: My client is leading the way for C&I and municipal energy production. My Client develops C&I solar and battery storage projects across the United States with utilities, municipalities, and Fortune 500 companies. They are looking for a talented individual to help lead and manage the origination team with a goal of hitting contract goals on a quarterly and annual basis. You will be responsible for creating a go-to-market strategy for various solutions including on and off-site solar, battery storage, and EV charging. The Vice President of Origination will be responsible for:
- Working with the team to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. With a focus on originating new opportunities, awarded opportunities, and contracted opportunities.
- Stay up to date on specific incentives, market trends, and regional regulations to create go-to-market strategy prioritizing market opportunities.
- Work closely with teams cross-functionally to create sales campaigns including inside sales as well as internal/ external marketing teams.
- Tracking the team's KPIS to make sure targets are hit.
- Assist in sales efforts including, sales prospecting, qualifying leads, proposals, presentations, networking, relationship building, partnering, and account management.
- Managing the team's pipeline ensuring the projections are made with proper forecasting, updating data on a weekly basis, and generating reports for management and executive teams.
- Helping generate and complete RFP opportunities by working with the proposal team.
The Vice President of Origination should have the following qualifications:
- Experience working in C&I solar project sales or project development success.
- Experience managing a team of C&I sales professionals or origination individuals.
- Experience with commercial contracting, Power Purchase agreements, site leases, land options, and others.
- The ability to manage complex financial models.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- The ability to meet high-priority deadlines.
- Must be a great communicator and a natural leader.
- Must be willing to work remotely and be a self-starter.
