Salary: $80-120,000

This opportunity is with a well-established engineering and manufacturing firm specializing in water and wastewater treatment systems. They specialize in designing and manufacturing reliable, efficient, and cost-effective systems that cover virtually all stages of wastewater treatment-from influent to final discharge-including pumps, screens, headworks, grit removal, biological treatment systems, clarifiers, aerators, SBRs, and more. The company has grown from serving North American municipalities to supporting global clients with high-quality purification solutions. The organization is known for its people-first culture, valuing collaboration, learning, and long-term relationships. They are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and support sales representatives from their Northeast Chicagoland office. The role involves technical sales, training, travel, and client engagement, with a strong emphasis on engineering expertise and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and train sales representatives to effectively promote and sell products.
  • Prepare proposals and pricing while managing multiple projects in early stages.
  • Track sales opportunities using a CRM system.
  • Present technical presentations and lunch-and-learns to customers and engineers.
  • Participate in industry tradeshows and travel monthly to sales territories.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with basic computer tools.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
