Building Automation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Project Manager to lead the execution of BAS/DDC projects from kickoff through completion. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and customer relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Building Automation/Controls projects from award through commissioning and closeout.
• Coordinate engineering, programming, installation, and commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Review project specifications, control drawings, and submittals to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Manage change orders, project risks, procurement, and subcontractors.
• Oversee commissioning activities and ensure systems operate according to the sequence of operation and owner requirements.
• Monitor project financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide status updates to customers and leadership teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience within Building Automation, HVAC Controls, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of BAS/DDC systems, HVAC equipment, and controls applications.
• Experience managing projects utilizing platforms such as Niagara, Siemens Desigo, Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Automated Logic (ALC), or similar.
• Ability to read and understand control drawings, mechanical plans, and project specifications.
• Excellent communication, organization, and client-facing skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
• Experience in healthcare, industrial, pharmaceutical, data center, higher education, or mission-critical environments.
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, and other BAS communication protocols.
