Healthcare Practice Leader
A nationally recognized architecture and engineering firm is seeking an accomplished Healthcare Practice Leader to drive the growth, strategy, and delivery of its healthcare practice in Orlando. This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape a growing market sector, develop client relationships with major healthcare providers, and mentor high-performing teams delivering impactful healthcare environments.
The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with a proven track record of leading healthcare projects, building client relationships, and driving business development initiatives across complex healthcare facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and expand the firm's healthcare practice throughout Central Florida and surrounding markets.
- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives focused on hospitals, medical campuses, ambulatory care centers, specialty clinics, and healthcare systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, lead pursuits, and support proposal and interview efforts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare clients, guiding project vision, planning, and execution.
- Provide leadership and oversight throughout all phases of design and project delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Mentor architects, project managers, and emerging healthcare professionals.
- Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies impacting facility design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Licensed Architect (RA) required.
- 12+ years of professional experience with a significant focus on healthcare architecture.
- Demonstrated success leading complex healthcare projects from planning through construction.
- Established relationships within the Florida healthcare market preferred.
- Strong business development and client management experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and drive project profitability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare planning, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based design principles.
